HOUSE OF LILIES
A place of worship and prayer
"And the smoke of the incense rose up from the angel's hand before God with the prayers of God's people." Revelation 8:4
The Royan House of Prayer is oriented towards relationship, face to face with God; listening to His heart, receiving His thoughts, entering into His rest. The search and quest for God must lead to a spiritual experience where man is renewed and transformed by the presence of God. It is a place of "delights" where milk and honey flow, an invitation to come to the table of the beloved who has prepared everything.
"I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine; he feeds his flock among the lilies. It is a place that is meant to be open to all who want to taste the glory of intimacy." Song of Songs 6.3

Royan prayer house, Maine Geoffroy temple (TMG)
Between 2013 and 2014 the church followed training on the tabernacle of Moses and the "radical" transition to that of David. God speaks to us through the tabernacle of David to make us realize that we are in a house of prayer (Mdp) born during the spiritual awakening between 1755 and 1761 under the leadership of Pastor Jean-Louis Gibert. During this short period, about twenty houses of prayer were built. We then understand, based on the prophecy of Amos 9, recalled by James in Acts 15, that the time had come to raise the tent of David. The Mdp was born in 2015.
In the meantime, on September 13, 2014, we received an unexpected visit from two Swiss historians at the Temple de Maine Geoffroy in Royan, where we have been meeting since 2002; Dieter Gembicki-Achtnicht, a historian specializing in the 18th century who has done extensive research on the Moravian Pietist movement, and Heidi his wife, also a historian and from a family with a Moravian tradition. We had never heard of them or even been informed of this visit.
They were both intrigued by the New Covenant Church prophetic intercession group that met in the temple to pray for revival. At the end of this brief meeting, this couple gave us a book they had written; “The Revival of Hearts.”*
* "Le Réveil des cœurs" is the journal of the Moravian brother Pierre Conrad Fries who recounts his meeting with the pastor Jean-Louis Gibert, founder of the Maine Geoffroy temple in 1756. Fries describes the uncontrollable enthusiasm of this "madman of God" (Jean-Louis Gibert) who wanted to save the Protestants from persecution, but also the great influence of chiliasm and Arianism in his doctrine.

"And Jacob went to Succoth, and built himself a house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of that place was called Succoth." Genesis 33:17
The "cabins" are places of life and exchange to share, exhort each other, entertain each other with hymns and psalms and enjoy the atmosphere of heaven.
